What treatments can help
Osteopathy
Your osteopath will use a variety of gentle and effective techniques, including massage, stretching, and mobilisation to relieve tension in your arm by improving the way the elbow, wrist, and shoulder operate together.
Acupuncture
Your acupuncturist will use very fine needles placed in carefully selected points on your body. Many people feel a mild tingling or warmth during treatment, followed by a sense of calm and relaxation. They will target specific points along the arm and forearm, helping the tendons heal more effectively.
Sports and Remedial Massage
Your S&R massage therapist will work to release tight forearms and upper arm muscles. This will reduce pressure on the tendons to restore strength and flexibility. They aim to reduce the tension that you are carrying and boost your recovery to get you performing at your best.
How you will feel after treatment
You are likely to feel reduced pain and greater ease of movement after treatment. With regular treatments your grip strength will improve, reoccurrences of elbow pain will reduce, and elbow function returns to normal.
